I have been incredibly moved by the events which took place September 11, 2001. Four planes were hijacked. Two crashed into and leveled the World Trade Center, killing over 3,000 people. One plane crashed into the Pentagon, killing nearly 200 and another plane crashed in Pennsylvannia (due to the heroics of the passengers on that plane) killing all onboard.
Working in a Government building, I felt like a target. My sister works only 6 blocks from the White House and watched the Pentagon burn.
I wanted to include a few pictures which moved me. All of them were taken from various places on the internet, especially The Washington Post. I also retrieved pictures from ABC, MSNBC and TheStar.Com.
I am also posting links to several sites I have found that touched me.
And I will also post essays, speeches, etc.
Probably some of this is copyrighted. This is something I am doing for my own healing and not to profit in any way whatsoever. If someone believes I have stolen their copyrighted material and they don't like it, please contact me and I will remove it ASAP.
